Training and Seminars

We are pleased to introduce the training capabilities of RDS Asbestos Management Consultants Ltd.

All training is provided by qualified staff who have considerable experience in their specific area of work with asbestos.

Training is Particularly important in respect of the changes in the Control of Asbestos at Work Regulations due to come into force later this year with the new Duty to Manage Asbestos. These will impose a specific legal duty on all those who own, occupy, manage, or have similar responsibilities for premises that may contain asbestos.

Our trainers are recognised as “partners” by the Health and Safety Executive for the introduction of the requirements of this duty.

The proposed Duty Manage Regulation calls for competent surveyors to be appointed to carry out surveys. This competence can be demonstrated by the surveyor having suitable qualification and experience and the possession or certification recognised by the HSE

RDS Asbestos Management Consultants Ltd at its associated offices can provide tailored in-house training schemes for Clients’ staff as required by the relevant legislation
