The Project Managers Role is to:
- Ensure that the works are undertaken and completed in accordance
with the specification and tender requirements including reinstatement
works
- Ensure that the premises be allowed to operate in safety with the
least possible disturbance to the occupants
- Prepare and or obtain programmes, timetables and information as requested
by the client
- Act on the client’s behalf, as to provide all necessary information
and assistance to the Environmental Health Department and Health and
Safety Executive
- Prepare and submit detailed reports of project progress
- Ensure that all staff partaking in asbestos operations be suitably
qualified
- Ensure that best practice be adopted at all times
- Ensure that there is full compliance in all statutory obligations
and requirements
